Day by Day program
The educated and healthy classes of the ancient Romans were used to the otium, which included the practice of studying, reading, and reflecting in connection with nature and solitude, in contrast to the frenzy of negotium that was the frenetic activity of everyday life made up of meetings, trade, and negotiations.
We should cultivate the ability to clear our minds of thoughts that, like waves of the sea, are constantly reaching the shore of our awareness.
It's not easy at all, it needs practice, and the good news is that everyone can do it.
The combination of biking and yoga is perfect to let you have the best balance between body activity, gentle stretch and meditation.
One of the results is that our mind becomes more productive just because our brain "breathes."
DAY 1: Welcome to Tuscany
Private transfer from Viareggio train station to the villa located in the first hills of the Versilia region.
Once at the villa we'll have a welcome briefing to introduce the trip and a brief relaxing yoga session before dinner.
Dinner is included all together at the villa.
DAY 2: Biking and boutique winery

Our day starts with a yoga morning session to prepare our mind and body for the new day, after that a short ride will take us to a local small family run winery, where we'll have the opportunity to learn about their boutique production.
Light lunch and transfer back to the villa.
Yoga session in the afternoon or after dinner.

DAY 3: Massaciuccoli Loop

After breakfast, we'll have a loop ride. As always, head start and shuttle on the last part of the ride, are available any time.

DAY 4: Marble, Colonnata Lard and great wines
Today is a super relaxing day with no biking that we'll use to understand more about one of the most iconic productions of the Apuan Alps: its marble. Our day starts as usual with a yoga morning session to prepare our mind and body for the new day.
After breakfast, we'll drive to one of the largest quarries of the area where we'll learn more about the Carrara marble.
Lunch at a local osteria.

DAY5: Pietrasanta a tiny jewel of Tuscany

We start our day with the usual 50 minutes of our morning yoga session as we wake up.
After breakfast, we'll bike a loop ride that includes Pietrasanta, a lovely medieval town so called "The little Athens of Italy" due to its artistic tradition for bronze workshops, artists and monuments.

DAY 6: Lucca

Gentle ride to Lucca this morning, a well protected town by its medieval walls belt. The ride is short and easy, perfect for letting us to arrive fresh to the town and spend half day for discovering and sightseeing.
Transfer back to the villa or optional ride back.

DAY 7: Arrivederci!
Your relaxing and self-care week is over.
Now you are ready to come back home, refilled with pure energy and a new way to approach the engagements of .your everyday life.
After breakfast we'll transfer you to Viareggio train station from where you can easily get either Pisa, Florence or Rome and their airports.
