  • Day 1Welcome to Matera

    Your adventure begins in Matera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Italy’s most extraordinary destinations. Famous for its ancient Sassi district, Matera’s cave dwellings and rock-hewn churches offer a mesmerizing glimpse into history. Wander through its labyrinth of narrow alleys, marvel at the timeless architecture, and immerse yourself in the magic of this unique city. Overnight in Matera.

  • Day 2Bike ride from Gioia del Colle to Alberobello

    A private transfer takes you to Gioia del Colle, where your cycling journey begins after a visit at family run cheese factory in town. From Gioia del Colle, you’ll pedal through the scenic Apulian countryside, with its endless olive groves, dry-stone walls, and historic masserie (traditional farmhouses). Your destination is Alberobello, a picture-perfect town and UNESCO World Heritage Site, renowned for its iconic trulli whitewashed stone huts with conical roofs that look straight out of a fairytale. Spend the evening strolling through its charming streets. Overnight in Alberobello.

  • Day 3Loop ride: Alberobello to Putignano and back

    Today’s ride takes you on a beautiful loop through the Apulian countryside, reaching Putignano, a town rich in history and famous for its ancient Carnival celebrations, the oldest in Europe. Enjoy a leisurely ride back to Alberobello, taking in the region’s tranquil landscapes dotted with vineyards and olive groves.
    Spend a second evening relaxing in this enchanting town. Overnight in Alberobello.

  • Day 4Bike ride from Alberobello to Monopoli

    On your final cycling day, you’ll ride from Alberobello the vibrant seaside town of Monopoli by a stretch along the Adriatic coast. Known for its charming old port, historic center, and crystalline waters, Monopoli perfectly blends culture, history, and coastal beauty. Stroll along the harbor front promenade, explore the ancient churches, or simply relax by the sea as you celebrate the conclusion of your journey. Overnight in Monopoli..
